Western Australian Maritime Museum

Highlights of Fremantle's historic Maritime Precinct include the three museum sites:

• Shipwreck Galleries - containing fascinating artefacts and stories from ships wrecked on our treacherous coast from as early as 1622
• Maritime Museum - seven spectacular galleries telling stories of fishing, leisure, trade, migration, Fremantle Harbour and the Swan River, naval defence and the Indian Ocean region.
• Submarine HMAS Ovens - Book a tour and learn about life beneath the waves

We have many exciting cross-curricular Hands On programs such as Don't Rock the Boat (students build, tank test, modify and race model sailing boats).
